St. Raphael Heritage Fund
The Heritage Fund is a Restricted Fund established by St. Raphael Church, with the approval of the Archdiocese of Newark, to allow parishioners and others to make donations that will fund facilities' needs and improvements, as well as parish life events.
Donations of $2,000 or greater will be recognized on our Heritage Fund Panel in the Vestibule

How can I give to the fund?
Immediate:

A check, made out to The St. Raphael Church Heritage Fund. (Please include which project you wish your gift to be devoted to in the check's Memo line)

A gift of Appreciated Stocks designated for The St. Raphael Church Heritage Fund.
Long Term:

Include the fund in your estate or will, indicating the amount (as a specific dollar amount or percentage of estate value) and specifically naming The St. Raphael Church Heritage Fund
How will my gift be used?

You can select an item from the list of facilities needs that has been prepared by the Parish Pastoral and Finance Councils.

You can choose an activity/group that focuses on our parish life to provide a fund to support their activities. Examples: Religious Education programs such as the Summer Bible Camp, or The Msgr. Burns Concert Series.

You can suggest an item that you would like to have considered to be on the list, for use with your donation.
What happens if the item I chose is already fully funded?

You will be contacted about your choice:

You can choose another item - the list will be updated as items are completed.

You can leave the choice to the Finance Council to apply to the item of highest priority. The Finance Council will contact you to verify your willingness for the use suggested.
